What kind of computer should I buy and where from?
A business only needs a basic computer, so save money by buying the lowest CPU speed model, and then spend that on additional RAM. More RAM will ensure you can run more business programs at one time. Leave the fast CPUs to the games machines.

Mobile Phones
Mobile phones have lots of features that you might never use. If you get one with email, make sure it has a large screen, and a qwerty keyboard or a stylus pen. Email on cheap phones is no fun.

PDAs
Don't get a standalone PDA. There are many good phones with PDAs built in. The problem with PDAs are you need to carry them around if you are going to use them... Spend more on a smart phone, and forget a PDA. Also, the wireless access is not as easy to use as you think. GPRS or 3G is much more accessible.

Printers
Buy a more expensive printer, as you will have so much trouble with the cheap ones. Laser printers are best for business use, giving a fast, crisp text quality, and they breakdown less often than inkjet printers. A multifunction printer is also useful to give you a scanner, copier and fax as well, and only 1 cable to plug into your computer.
